Government job : WAPCOS Limited, the ‘Mini Ratna-I’ organization and ISO 9001:2015 accredited firm is in the process of hiring short-term experts in order to undertake the effort involving the implementation of Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) along with UHBVNL in the state of Haryana. This is an initiative aimed at enhancement of power reliability and efficiency in power distribution. The selected experts will endeavor to apply their experience in power distribution, project management, and sector-specific compliance to ensure that the project is successful. This is not a government job.
2. Post Name
The candidature is invited for the position of “Team Leader” for this engagement. This is a critical role that calls for well -qualified professionals to manage the implementation of the project in the power distribution sector and achieve its objectives.
Vacancy
The position of Team Leader is one (1) in number. The candidate who gets selected shall be required to have good qualifications and experience on the particularly project leader’s role.
Tenure
This position as above is of temporary natures and is project linked. However the defined ending depends on the timeline of the project, the contract is strictly for the implementation of the RDSS project only. On a successful completion, WAPCOS bears no responsibility to keep the incumbent in any role. WAPCOS is a mini government job.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit applicable for the position is 65 years as on 30th September, 2024. This condition is to be adhered to by candidates, however there is age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWBMD candidates as provided by the government rules.
Academic Credentials
In order to be eligible, the candidates must possess a B.E. B. Tech in either Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering. It is also mandatory to have a post-graduate in management or engineering. Such type of education ensures that the candidates incorporate the technical and management aspects of that position govrnment job.
Posting Location
The existing CSR will be based in the State of Haryana particularly with respect to RDSS implementation along with UHBVNL. However, candidates should be open since WAPCOS might also need them deployed outside India or any other region within the country depending on the projects like a mini government job.
Method of Selection
An interview will be/has to be conducted for selection of the candidates. This will be done by short-listing candidates with appropriate qualifications in relation to their desired position. It is important to emphasize that candidates who do not make the short list will not be interviewed and no reimbursements will be made for travel or daily expenses for attending the interview for mini government job.
