Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise, seeks to hire individuals (residents of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh) on a strictly contractual basis for immediate deployment at its Field Headquarters in Duliajan. The positions offered involve duties that may require shift work and could entail challenging and hazardous tasks in remote or distant OIL facilities located in production and exploration zones. Additionally, selected candidates may be required to be available for “On-Call” duty as part of their contractual engagement.

OIL Recruitment 2024 :

Oil is inviting eligible and willing candidate to fill out the various post. There are only 40 vacancies. The candidate will received an emolument 16640 to 19500 per month .The minimum age limit for assigned post is 20 years and maximum age should not be 40 years. The candidates will be selected on their Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s) venue at Employees Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan OIL, Duliajan.

Vacancy Details :

  1. Contractual Electrician (18 nos.)
  2. Contractual Mechanic (AC&R) (02 nos.)
  3. Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical) (20 nos)

Eligibility Criteria

1.Contractual Electrician :

(i) Passed 10th from a Government recognized Board/University. (ii) Passed ITI Electrician (2 years) from a government recognized Board/University. (iii) Must possess Electrical Permit for workmen Part I & II.
Desirable Qualification:
01-year post qualification work experience
Or 01-year Apprenticeship Training

2. Contractual Mechanic (AC&R)

(i) Passed 10th from a Government recognized Board/University (ii) Passed ITI AC&R Mechanic (2 years) from a government recognized Board/University. Desirable Qualification: 01-year post qualification work experience Or 01-year Apprenticeship Training

Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical) (20 nos)

i) Passed Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a government recognized Board/University.
ii) Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency (Part I, II, III & IV).
Desirable Qualification:
Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency, Part VIII

Age Limit

As per OIL recruitment notification age limit will be 20 to 40 years.

Emoluments 

Both Contractual Electrician and Contractual Mechanic (AC&R) will received an fixed emolument ₹16,640.00(Rupees Sixteen Thousand Six
Hundred and Forty) only per month based on attendance including paid leave, holiday, if any. Variable emolument: ₹640.00(Rupees Six Hundred and Forty) only per day for each working day.

Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical) will received an fixed emolument ₹19,500.00(Rupees Nineteen Thousand five Hundred ) only per month based on attendance including paid leave, holiday, if any. Variable emolument: ₹75.00(Rupees Seven Hundred andFifty) only per day for each working day.

Tenure

The engagement will be purely on contractual basis only. The initial period of the above contractual engagement will be for 06 (Six) months only. Further, the period of above contractual engagement may be extendable after requisite interval for subsequent period of 06 (Six) months only depending on the departmental requirement, job performance, conduct, physical fitness etc., as applicable. The total period of above contractual engagement will be maximum 12 (twelve) months only.

Place of Posting

The selected applicant will be posted at Field Headquarters, Duliajan as per official notification.

The candidates will be selected on their Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s) venue at Employees Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan OIL, Duliajan.

How to Apply 

If the number of candidates registered for the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment on the scheduled date exceeds the venue’s capacity, please be aware that the remaining registered candidates will have their assessments postponed and completed on the following day(s), if necessary.

(b) On the day of registration, candidates are required to register for the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment at the venue between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Registration will not be allowed after the stated time under any circumstances.

(c) Interested candidates must complete the Personal Bio-Data form (provided on the last two pages of the advertisement) and bring it along with the following documents to the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment: (i) One recent colored photograph (3 cm x 3 cm).

The Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test and Personal Assessment (PMAT) requires candidates to provide valid identity, address, and other necessary documents. These include an Admit Card, Marksheet, Pass Certificate, and other necessary documents. Candidates must also provide work experience, caste certificates, income and asset certificates, disability certificates, discharge books, and release certificates for ex-servicemen. A No-Objection Certificate from the employer is also required. Only those meeting the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear. The process will proceed according to registered candidates' lists. A minimum 50% pass mark is required for the PMAT, and final selection will be based on merit.
